An introduction to the theoretical and computational aspects of linear algebra. Topics covered include linear equations, vectors and matrices, matrix algebra, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, linear transformations, vector spaces and inner product spaces. Computational investigation of selected topics in linear algebra.

(2) MTH 372 Number Theory with Crypotography, Dr. Eddie Cheng

Divisibility and prime numbers, Euclidean algorithm, unique factorizaton theorem, congruences, number-theoretic functions, cryptography, Gaussian integers, quadratic residues and diophantine equations.
