  • Teaching Associateships

There are several Teaching Associate positions available to well-qualified full-time students enrolled in a Departmental Master's program or the Ph.D. program. Teaching Associates receive a full tuition award and an additional stipend. These tuition awards and stipends are for the academic year (eight and a half months); additional support may be available during the summer. Teaching Associates are typically assigned teaching responsibilities for one class in one semester and two classes in the other semester, or two and three recitation sections, respectively.

    Other Support

The department hopes to have Research Associate positions in the near future, and summer internships in industry. Also, during the summer semester, a few teaching assistantships are available in the Summer Mathematics Institute.
